Bible Study

One of the best ways that we know to encourage the Discipleship within our congregation is through study of the Bible.  The Bible is our primary way of hearing God’s voice as we experience a tradition of ways God has interacted with God’s people throughout history.  Some poetry, some story, some history…is the beginning of conversation with God.  We continue to study and learn, ask more questions, and keep studying, learning, and asking more questions.

Wednesdays at 8:30am: Bible Study  is led by Dick Roberts. Currently the class is examining the ways in which Christ was prophetically prefigured in the Old Testament.

Tuesdays at 1:00pm and 7:00pm: Disciple  Our group has begun a 32 week series of Disciple 4: Under the Tree of Life. It concentrates on the writings in the Old Testament – Ruth, 1 and 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther, Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon, Lamentations, and Daniel. New Testament Scriptures include the Gospel of John; 1, 2, and 3 John; James; Jude; and Revelation.
